Dismissal Procedures
Car riders will be dismissed by the classroom teacher or educational assistant at their designated exit. An adult will meet the staff member at their designated exit. Parents/guardians will not be allowed to enter the building. Please have identification with you at dismissal time. Any changes in dismissal must be put in writing to the classroom teacher the morning of the change and sent in your child’s backpack. Please do not email the teacher in the event she is absent. Phone calls will not be accepted.

Aspen Updates and Emergency Cards
Please make sure your child’s emergency card and contact information is updated. We are still waiting for families to update this important information in Aspen. It is imperative we have this current information to ensure your child’s safety. If you are experiencing difficulties, please email [email protected] and a network administrator will provide assistance. If you do not have a computer, please call Mrs. Buco at 978-694-6070 and she will provide you with a hard copy. All students are required to have this information in our system regardless of your child’s learning model.

Tardy and Absenteeism
If your child will be absent from school, please call the main office at 978-694-6070 and choose option 1. When you leave a message, please be sure to include the room number and the reason for your child’s absence. Remember, your child needs to be symptom free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication before they return to school after an illness. Any child that arrives after 8am, is considered tardy. Parents/guardians must bring their child to the front door to enter the building.

Communication with Mrs. Hilliard, School Nurse
Communication with the school nurse is very important especially during the pandemic. If you have any questions or need to speak with Mrs. Hilliard regarding your child’s health, please call the health office directly at 978-694-6026 or email her at [email protected].

Change of Season
As the days are getting shorter and the temperatures are beginning to get cooler, please have your child dress in layers and bring a warm sweatshirt or jacket. We will bring students outside as much as possible throughout the day. Please label their clothing so it doesn’t get lost.
