Thank You:

I would like to thank all the students and staff who created beautiful kindness cards for our February community project. Our cards were delivered to our friends at the Wilmington Senior Citizen Center.
I'd also like to thank our nurse, Mrs. Hilliard for visiting all our classrooms to discuss Dental Health. She provided us with a lot of helpful information and tips to keep our teeth clean!

March Community Projects - Diaper Drive & "BITS Bags"

This month we are collecting donations for the annual Baby Diaper and Wipes drive that is sponsored by the Sons of Italy. Also, we are assisting a Wilmington High School junior with a community service project. We are collecting donations for the Wish Project, which is an organization that creates "BITS Bags" (Basic Items for Toddler Success) for local children who may experience developmental delays due to a lack of simple interactive toys. Additional information has been sent home about these two community projects. Donations can be sent in with your child or dropped off at the front office during arrival/dismissal. Thank you!

Winter Clothing

I would like to remind families to have their children wear a warm winter jacket, hat, and mittens/gloves. We go outside throughout the day when temperatures cooperate and we want students to stay warm. Please make sure to label their clothing as well.

Book Reading and Discussion

Please join us via ZOOM on Tuesday, March 29th at 7:00 pm for a free book reading and discussion with authors Maryann Cocca-Leffler & Janine Leffler as they share their new book, We Want to Go to School! The Fight for Disability Rights. An informational flyer about this event will be sent home to families.

Wilmington Educational Foundation Clothing Bin

If you have clothing, shoes, stuffed animals, etc. you would like to donate, you may place them in the WEF clothing and shoe bin located at the driveway of the school.
Please make sure your donations are in bags. For every ton, the WEF will receive $100 that will support educational opportunities for all students.

Our next PAC meeting will be Thursday, March 17, 2022 beginning at 9:30 am. If interested in joining us, please email [email protected] to receive the Zoom invite.
