Preschool and Kindergarten Registration
Preschool and Kindergarten registration will take place Monday, March 29th – Wednesday, April 7th. Drop-off and mail-in registration is available during that time. Information about the process and the required documents are posted on the district website. Please visit the website at www.wpsk12.com or call the office if you have any questions.
Communication with Mrs. Hilliard, School Nurse
Communication with the school nurse is imperative as we continue to encounter the challenges of COVID and navigate through the winter months. If anyone in your home is symptomatic or awaiting test results, it is strongly encouraged you do not send your child to school. The Massachusetts travel advisory is still in effect. If traveling outside Massachusetts, individuals must quarantine for ten days or produce a negative COVID-19 test result that has been administered up to 72- hours prior to arrival in Massachusetts. If you have any questions or need to speak with Mrs. Hilliard regarding your child’s health, please call the health office directly at 978-694-6026 or email her at [email protected].
March 31, 2021 – Remote Learning Day
On Wednesday, March 31, 2021 ALL students will participate in a remote learning day in a combined AM/PM session during the AM hours of 8-10:30am. There will be no in-person learning on this day for all students.
Winter Clothing
I would like to remind families to have their child wear a warm winter jacket, hat and mittens/gloves. We go outside throughout the day when temperatures cooperate and we want students to stay warm. Please make sure to label their clothing as well.
March Community Project – Good Deeds Coupons
This month our students will be learning about the importance of making good choices, practicing self-control, and being helpful to others. We are asking our students to practice good deeds at home. When you see your child making good choices, practicing self-control, or being helpful, please complete a coupon and return it to school. Each child can submit up to 4 coupons by March 24th to be entered into a raffle.
Box Tops for Education
Help support the PAC every time you shop! Download the free Box Top app to help raise money for our school! Scan your store receipt within 14 days of your purchase and the app will identify the Box Top products on your receipt and automatically credit our earnings online! Wilmington Educational Foundation Clothing Bin
If you have clothing, shoes, stuffed animals, etc. you would like to donate, you may place them in the WEF clothing and shoe bin located at the driveway of the school. Please make sure your donations are in bags. For every ton, the WEF will receive $100 that will support educational opportunities for all students.
Parent Advisory Council
Our next PAC meeting will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 beginning at 8:30am. If interested in joining us, please email [email protected] to receive the Zoom invite.
